The application formcont.gsem-unige.ch (the Application) is governed by these Terms of Use. The access to the Appplication constitutes an acceptance of these Terms of Use.
GSEM - Geneva School of Economics and Management is a Department of University of Geneva.
Any liability of the Center for damages due to or in connection with the access and / or use of the Application is excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
In no event shall the GSEM be liable for any incidental, indirect or consequential damages, loss of profit or expected savings, loss of data, interruption of the business, loss of goodwill, third party claims, as well as late or exemplary damages.
The content and information published on the Application are provided "as is" without warranties or representations of any kind. The GSEM rejects and excludes all warranties or express or implied representations, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of the Application to the fullest extent permitted by law.
In particular, the GSEM makes no warranty or representation, express or implied, regarding the relevance, accuracy, quality, completeness or existence of the content and information published on the Application. In particular, the GSEM does not provide any warranty or representation, express or implied, regarding the technical accessibility, suitability or blamelessness of the Application. In particular, the GSEM makes no warranty or representation that the use of the content and information published on the Application will not infringe any rights of third parties.
The GSEM reserves the right to make changes to the Application in any manner whatsoever, at any time and for any reason whatsoever and without notice.
Copyright and all other rights relating to the texts, illustrations, pictures and other data published on the Application are the exclusive property of their owners or have been purchased in the form of a license. Reproduction is subject to the prior written permission of the copyright holder
The trademarks, logos, service marks and company names displayed on the Application are protected and registered.
Referrals and links to other websites are not the responsibility of the GSEM. Access to these sites and their use are at the risk of users. The GSEM expressly declares that it has no influence on the form, content and offers of the sites to which it refers. The information and services offered by these sites are entirely the responsibility of their authors.
In general, the Internet is not a safe environment. The user recognizes that the Internet is an open network available to everyone. Moreover, the data that the user exchanges with the Center on the Internet can cross borders.
The GSEM processes personal data and information ("Data") in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
When the User visits and uses the Application, or registers with the GSEM, the GSEM or a trusted Third Party automatically receives and records information in its server logs (logs) from the User web browser, including his IP address and his use of the Application.
The GSEM or a trusted Third Party collects the Data on the publications and transactions of the User.
The GSEM or a trusted Third Party process this Data for the following general purposes:
Trusted Third Parties include Infomaniak Sàrl which hosts this Application and Google through its Google Analytics service.
The GSEM may store cookies on the User's computer and access them (more details in the cookies section below).
Any communication or support that the User transmits to the Application through forms, emails or otherwise, and containing data, questions, comments, suggestions or other information, is and will be treated as confidential.
The GSEM shares the User's data, in particular with the University of Geneva, for administrative purposes.
The GSEM, with the autorization of the User, may send informations regarding trainings, conferences or other relevant information offered by the GSEM. The User can unsubscribe at any time by changing the communication preferences in the settings of the profile.
The GSEM reserves the right to send certain communications related to the services of the Application.
The GSEM limits access to the Data to employees and Third Parties who require this access to a reasonable extent. The GSEM implements physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to preserve the Data and requires similar safeguards from its service providers.

The GSEM may, at any time, revise this document by updating this posting. The User is bound by these revisions and must therefore visit this page frequently to be aware of the changes.
Subject to the mandatory legal provisions, any use of the Application and any legal dispute resulting from or in connection with the connection to the Application are governed exclusively by Swiss law and must be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the home of the GSEM.
During the first visit of the Application, a cookie is sent to the User's computer in order to uniquely identify the browser.
A "cookie" is a small file that contains a string of characters and is sent to the User's computer when the User visits a web page.
The Center uses cookies to better serve the User when he returns to the Application, improve the quality of service offered and better understand how the Application is used. To do this, we store User's preferences in cookies and track trends and patterns of visitors to the Application.
Most browsers are initially configured to accept cookies. It is possible to adjust the parameters of the browser to refuse all cookies or to be informed of the sending of a cookie. However, some features or services offered on the Application may not work properly without cookies.
When the User consults a page of the Application containing an activated plugin, the browser creates a direct connection with the providers' servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly by the provider to the browser and integrated into the page and some information will be transmitted to the third party provider and will be saved by the latter.
